The Authentic Coaxdon Charm

Coaxdon Farmhouse is a living piece of history, a genuine family home with over 400 years of stories. This is not a 'salubrious holiday complex' but a place of rustic character and charm.

Embrace the quirks of a historic building: expect somewhat unique plumbing, the gentle presence of bats in the loft during summertime, and many birds nesting around the buildings in spring. These elements are part of what makes Coaxdon Farmhouse so special and connected to its natural surroundings.

Our commitment to natural beauty extends to the farmhouse itself, featuring bespoke handmade ceramic tiles that echo the flora and fauna of the Devon countryside. Each tile is a small piece of art, blending seamlessly with the farm's authentic, natural aesthetic.

I'm a Potter making nature inspired tiles at Damson Tree Pottery. I live in a 17th Century Farmhouse, with 6 acres in beautiful Devon countryside near the Jurassic Coast. I have 7 friendly pet sheep, surrounded by many wild birds, flowers and animals. My 4 kids have left home but pop back to visit a lot! We love kayaking, finding fossils, swimming in the sea and walking in the countryside.
